Medical Malpractice with Attorney Frank Riccio – Part Three

Attorney Frank Riccio, co-host of “Talking About the Law” led a discussion on Sunday, May 19, 2013 on WCRN 830 AM Radio. His conversation focuses on medical malpractice. Attorney Bob Flynn first aired “Talking about the Law” about five years ago to explore the many facets of the law in people’s lives.

The next segment changes gears and looks at brain injury cases in children. These cases can be the most traumatic for parents and families of children with brain injury. Most fetal heart monitor strips can determine the difficulty of the delivery process. Some children do not do well and the difficulties can be seen using this monitor. An example would be if you walk into a boxing gym and punch someone hard you can determine they are strong. If you punch them in their stomach and they double over you can determine that they are not as strong. This monitor can determine how well the baby will do during delivery and if they could face a brain injury or they are in trouble. If they are in fetal distress, it is important to go to the parents and tell them and let them know their baby might be at risk. To listen to this part of the show, listen to the audio above.

Bob Flynn represents individuals seriously injured in Worcester and Suffolk County in construction site and workplace accidents.
