Worker’s Compensation Benefits, Loss of Function, Scarring, and Mental Health with Attorney Robert L. Noa – Part Three
Co-host of “Talking about the Law,” Attorney Rob Noa, examined scarring issues and the process for putting a compensation number on scarring at the Division of Industrial Accidents on June 30, 2013. Attorney Noa touched upon the process of litigation and how scars are looked at from a medical perspective to determine how red they are, their depth, and the possibility of suture marks. Attorney Noa also brings up the fact that in Massachusetts, scars on the body versus a scar on the face are not compensable on their own but fit into a category with burns. For the past five years, “Talking about the Law” has been sponsored by co-host Attorney Robert H. Flynn of Flynn Law Firm P.C.
